Terms of Use
Rocky (rocky.training) · Last updated 3 November 2026
About these terms
Rocky is an AI training-coach service operated by Async Sweden AB (Sweden). These terms apply when you use rocky.training and its API. By signing in or connecting Garmin you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use Rocky. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
Rocky is currently offered to users in the European Union / EEA, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. If you use it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local laws.
Rocky is not offered to people who live in Russia or Belarus, and we don't accept payments from there. Sign-in and checkout are refused from those countries, and we may close an account that is used from there anyway.
Rocky is an AI, not a doctor
Rocky's replies are generated automatically by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) from your training data and what you tell it. Rocky is not a physician, physiotherapist, dietitian or licensed coach, and nothing it says is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. This includes, without limitation, advice on whether to train or rest, how hard to push, whether you are ill, injured, recovered or fit to race, and anything about nutrition, sleep, heart rate, pain or other symptoms. Using Rocky does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client or coach-athlete relationship with us.
AI can be wrong. Rocky may misread your data, miss something important, make calculation or date errors, or state something incorrect with confidence. The data it works from (from Garmin and your devices) can itself be incomplete or inaccurate.
You are responsible for your training
EXERCISE CARRIES AN INHERENT RISK OF INJURY, ILLNESS AND, IN RARE CASES, DEATH. BY USING ROCKY YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS OF THE TRAINING YOU CHOOSE TO DO, WHETHER OR NOT ROCKY SUGGESTED IT.
- You decide what you do. Use Rocky's suggestions as input, not instructions, and use your own judgement about your body and your limits.
- Talk to a doctor before starting or changing a training programme if you have, or suspect, a medical condition, are pregnant, take medication, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you.
- Stop and seek medical help if you feel chest pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, or other worrying symptoms. In an emergency, call 112 (or your local emergency number). Never rely on Rocky.
- Workouts Rocky puts on your Garmin calendar or watch are suggestions like any other. Check them before you do them; you can change or delete them in Garmin Connect at any time.
No guarantees
ROCKY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR MERCHANTABILITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
The 14-day free trial costs nothing; paid plans are described under "Subscriptions and payment". If the trial ends without a paid plan, we end your Garmin connection 30 days later (see the privacy policy); you can connect again at any time. We don't promise any particular result: no guarantee that you will reach a goal, hit a time, improve your fitness, avoid injury or illness, or that a plan suits you. We also don't guarantee that the service is always available, error-free, or that data from Garmin arrives on time or at all. We may change, pause or end the service or the beta at any time.
Limitation of liability
YOU USE ROCKY AT YOUR OWN RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASYNC SWEDEN AB IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, ILLNESS, LOSS OF HEALTH, MISSED GOALS OR RACES, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ROCKY OR FROM ACTING, OR NOT ACTING, ON ANYTHING ROCKY SAYS.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Rocky in the 12 months before the claim and EUR 100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
Indemnity
If you break these terms or misuse Rocky, and that leads to a claim against Async Sweden AB by someone else, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent permitted by law.
Subscriptions and payment
- Billing. A paid plan is a subscription billed in advance for each period (for example monthly) at the price shown at checkout, and it renews automatically until you cancel. If you subscribe during the free trial, the plan starts at once and the first payment is taken when the trial ends. Payment is handled by Stripe, which acts as reseller and merchant of record for the purchase: it takes the payment, charges the applicable VAT or sales tax, issues receipts and handles payment questions, under its own terms.
- What a plan includes. A plan gives access to Rocky with a fair-use allowance of AI usage per day. If you reach the allowance, Rocky pauses until the next day.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. The plan then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. Paid periods are not refunded, in whole or in part, except as set out in these terms or required by law.
- Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA and UK consumers). You may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of buying it by telling us at hello@rocky.training. Because you ask us to start the service straight away, we refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days you had access.
- Changes to prices. We may change the price of a plan. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to you; it takes effect from your next billing period after that. If you don't accept it, cancel before then and you won't be charged the new price.
- Changes to plans and content. Rocky is developing quickly, and we may change, add or remove features, plans, usage allowances, integrations and the AI models we use. If a change materially reduces what your current plan gives you, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and get a pro-rata refund of the unused, prepaid part of the current period.
- Suspension and termination. If you break these terms (for example misuse, attempts to circumvent usage limits, chargebacks for payments you made, or unlawful use), we may suspend or close your account immediately, without refund. We may also stop offering Rocky or a plan altogether; we will then give at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid period that is left when the service ends.
Your account and acceptable use
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Rocky.
- Keep access to your email account secure, since sign-in links are sent there.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no accessing other people's data, and no using Rocky for anything unlawful.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Garmin and other third parties
Garmin Connect™ is a service of Garmin, governed by Garmin's own terms. Rocky is not made, endorsed or supported by Garmin. We are not responsible for Garmin's services, data or availability, nor for the AI provider's model beyond what is described in the privacy policy.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Swedish law applies, without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions: hello@rocky.training.
